COVID-19 How we are keeping you safe

A message to our clients.

Given the current state of the world we wanted to reach out and let you know that we are thinking of all of you and that we hope that each and every one of you are going well in what are challenging times for everyone.

It is business as usual for us at Navanah and although it seems everything outside our doors is a little crazy at the moment, inside we are happy, healthy, bright and enthusiastically here to provide you with your usual skin and beauty needs.

 As well as highlighting the reasons why it’s still safe to come into the salon we also wanted to let you know that if you are feeling unsure about attending an appointment and there is a

measure we can take that could make you feel more at ease, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We understand that this type of thing is not the norm and that we may have to adapt the way we do things given the circumstances.

Why you should still feel safe and comfortable coming to your beauty treatments

In response to COVID-19 we are taking a number of steps to provide the safest possible environment for our clients and our staff. We have always adopted strict health and hygiene protocols as part of our day to day running, we have now implemented preventative measures around hygiene as advised by the department of health.

This includes the following:

All surfaces that you are being treated on are fully disinfected using the highest grade cleansers BETWEEN EACH AND EVERY CLIENT

Disposable head roll is changed between each client

Disposable one use implements for the application of wax.

Utensils are thoroughly washed and sterlised

Products are dispensed hygienically from containers for one use only

All surfaces are disinfected after each service

Therapists hands are washed before and after each service

Gloves are worn in all necessary treatments

Hospital grade disinfectant is used for all our cleaning needs

The list goes on…


On request we are able to wear masks. The only reason this is not normal practice for every client is because we follow government health advice regarding masks and the advice is that, unless you are carrying the virus, masks are not necessary.

We have provided hand sanitisers at reception for every client to use prior to entering the treatment room and we encourage clients to use the hand basins and soap provided to wash hands as we do before and after each interaction.

We have invested more money in anti-viral and anti-bacterial products which will be used to clean and disinfect all surfaces in treatment rooms and reception before and after EVERY client. We also these cleaning agents to wipe clean our Eftpos device between transactions, as well as encouraging Paypass to avoid as much contact.


We also disinfect the salon door handles, the waiting area and reception desk between clients.

We are not allowing anyone who is unwell to be treated at the salon until they have completely recovered and we will not allow any team members to work if they are unwell.

Clients who have recently travelled from high risk countries, overseas or are showing flu like symptoms are being asked not to attend appointments.
